Background
Chatt & Eat is a Chattanooga-based, food photography Instagram that highlights local fare and shares updates from area restaurants.
Whimsical Classiness
To reflect Chattanooga's diverse food scene, a mix of "classy" and "whimsy" were the guides for how to approach the identity design. Using a dynamic, but elegant, serif font to provide an elevated feel, and pairing it with hand drawn icons, captured the friendliness of a local with the sophistication of a "foodie." While blue and yellow color palette adds Southern charm, reminiscent of country diners and "blue plate" specials.
